Ramova Theater
A new brand for a landmark venue
Ramova Theatre (translated from Lithuanian as “a peaceful place”) reopened in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood as a live music venue, craft brewery, beer garden and grill. With a star-studded ownership group including Quincy Jones, Jennifer Hudson, and Chance the Rapper, Ramova stands at the intersection of classical and contemporary. Inspired by the building’s architectural details, the enormous starry sky mural on the theater’s ceiling, and the neighborhood’s Lithuanian roots, our brand identity and design system seek to bring that “peaceful place” alive as a hand-crafted storybook tale. It blends self expression, unbridled freedom and the rush of emotions inspired by both live shows and art itself — the drama, mystery, & magic.
