Our decade-long partnership with Cat Footwear has allowed us to build a powerhouse brand with major sales in over 150 global markets. With years of website iterations and full-blown campaign executions under our belt, we know one thing to be absolutely true: this brand demands creative that’s big enough and bold enough to fly the yellow flag of uncompromising, incomparable Caterpillar Inc.
In early 2014, Cat handed us the reins for the strategic and creative direction of their global brand as their agency of record. Our influence begins at the core of the brand with strategic guidance and seasonal campaign development, and continues through to final consumer-ready content ranging from photo and video, to print and OOH, to e-comm and social, to major consumer activations.
Cat Footwear boots are tough as nails and bold as hell so shooting a global Cat campaign means committing to a sweaty, rowdy adventure. To get the right shots with the right people, you need to fall headfirst into the genuine grit of the scene. Our shoots have drawn us to LA’s skid row, the arid isolation of the Salton Sea, and concrete wastelands from Miami to the Midwest. We’ve snuck cameras into Coachella, and crashed a rave on the southside of Chicago. On top of that, we shoot and edit everything ourselves—why would you let anyone else have this kind of fun?
Our stewardship of the Cat Footwear brand extends to their entire digital universe: we have architected, designed, and developed three complete iterations of their global e-commerce site over the past decade, placing them at the forefront of digital brand and product storytelling. But it’s not enough to build up the .com and mobile presence—we take all campaign assets and create social channel-specific content for their marketing and PR teams to roll-out throughout the season.
